VIP entertainment, Parades and Special Occasions

Whether it is the pomp and circumstance of the Lord Mayor's Show in London or providing rides at charity cricket matches, our carriages can add an extra special touch of glamour.

The 'Vigilant ' - London to Brighton Coach Run, 16th & 17th May 2005
We were proud to take part in this historic event, our horses and coachman taking part in two of the stages.

Father Christmas parade
Our coaches are often in demand around Christmas to take Father Christmas to his grotto. Our horses are used to the excitement that this creates.

Coaching competition, Royal Berkshire show, Newbury, 21/22 Sep 2002
Our four horse team took part in the coaching competition at the Royal Berkshire show, Newbury. We were very pleased to be able to horse a fine Holland & Holland Private Drag owned by Mr Dick Seaman.

The Celebration of Time, 2002, 14 Sep 2002
Two of our carriages were used as part of the Celebration of Time parade from the Cutty Sark through Greenwhich park to the Royal Observatory.

Queen's 50th Jubilee Ceromonial Procession, 2002
Capital Carriages was proud and honoured to be asked to provide four carriages for the Lord Mayor of the City of London to take him and his retinue to meet the Queen at the boundry of the City of London during her ceremonial procession to St Paul's Cathedral for the service of thanksgiving on 4th June 2002.

We provided a team of four horses to pull the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth's coach for his parade in 2002.

10th Anniversary of the Phantom of the Opera
We took part in the 10th Anniversary of the Phantom of the Opera in London.

Duke of Richmond’s XI v Lord’s Taverners, Goodwood House
For a number of years we took part in this charity event by taking guests from the cricket pitch to the house and back again during the cricket match. The photo shows our shires and the break outside the front of Goodwood House.
